Join Colin Tattam, KTN’s Director, Application as he talks about how infrastructure can adapt to a post-Covid-19 world.
The Covid-19 lockdown has seen infrastructure world-wide placed under an intense strain.
Construction projects have been mothballed and, as lockdown eases, companies are cautiously starting up again whilst managing the implementation of social distancing measures. A necessary spike in home working saw a massive reduction in all forms of travel and a shut-down of towns and cities. Billions have been forced to change their lifestyles and the way they might think about life in the future.
The panel will discuss how urban planners and transport infrastructure companies could reflect new patterns of behaviour; what projects can take from Covid-19 restrictions and implement to good effect as we come out of lock-down; how we reset, reinvent and restart big projects and how innovation must play its part in this; and how the innovation sector can benefit from the agility of an innovative SME ecosystem.
