In the past, and still a little bit now if I'm being honest, I have been known to be a really good player.....on the range, but it's on the golf course where it matters. Playing your way around the course effectively to optimise your scoring is what it's all about. Thought processes, routines and concentration all contribute to a final number on the card so making sure these are effective on the course is paramount.
I played 9 Holes with Tim Backhouse, Senior Teaching Professional at Jumeirah Golf Estates and looked at effective ways to play the game. I've known Tim since I was a kid, and believe me, he is a quality golfer and coach, he just didn't have his A game in this one, or his B game to be fair. Get out on the golf course.
