Safeguarding horse welfare is a top priority at Longines Global Champions Tour and now ground-breaking high-tech equipment is pushing the boundaries of care on the circuit.
This weekend a team of experienced vets will once again be on standby as over 500 horses descend to Valkenswaard for the 12th stage of the championship series, with a unique state-of-the-art mobile horse clinic in attendance for the welfare of the equine stars of show jumping.
Top-class diagnostic and care facilities - including the Human Tecar Therapy technology which is also used on Formula 1 drivers - are accessible at every event and 24 hours a day and the array of services and machines continues to evolve using the latest technologies and ideas.
