Govt sources said CM Yogi was unhappy with Goel for skipping important departmental meetings and failing to take an active part in the maintenance of law and order. DGP Mukul Goel has been removed for not taking interest in official work, disregard for duty, and general indolence. He has been sent to the civil defense as the DG.
