Flooding, tornados, hundred year storms - every year. The weather is getting more aggressive. Whether it's climate change, El Nino, La Nina we have to protect our homes the best we can. After a tornado temporarily knocked our power our we decided it was time for a little battery back-up project. Some online shopping and a trip (or two) to Home Depot we got all the supplies to build out a storage shelf for our growing sump pump back-up solutions.

After three flooded basements in our previous home we build this one 'anti-flooding' top of mind. We have a back-up to the back-up sump pump. Now adding an Eco Flow Delta 2, we have a another back-up. Some may say this is overkill, but after experiencing flooding where your own home is not safe to live in, nothing feels like you're overdoing it. Peace of mind is priceless. And yes, anything can still happen but at least we know we've done the best we can.
