Economists are disappointed by the insistence of government on non-intervention measures for the tough economic times.
They say the failure to include measures in the 2022/23 budget to cushion the economy from the daily increasing cost of doing business will slow the recovery of sectors battered by COVID-19 in the past two years.
The economy is projected to grow by 6 per cent next financial year up from 4 per cent in the financial year 2021/22.
