Today I show you how to make the Whiskey Apple Cider Old Fashioned. This riff on the Old Fashioned is simple and easy and so good. The cider goes really well with the Rittenhouse Rye. This cocktail says welcome to fall and Happy Thanksgiving Canadian Style.

Whiskey Apple Cider Old Fashioned
2 Ginger Slices
.5 oz/15 ml Lemon Juice
2 oz/60 ml Rye Whiskey
4 oz/120 ml Apple Cider
Method
1. Add all ingredients into the shaker glass.
2. Shake with ice for 10-15 seconds.
3. Fine strain into a Rocks Glass with fresh ice.
4. Garnish With an apple wheel and a stick of apple cider..
