Democratic frontrunner Joe Biden has strongly defended his record at the latest United States presidential debate, as he called prominent rival Bernie Sanders a socialist.
It was the first time Biden, Sanders and Elizabeth Warren shared a debate stage in this campaign.
Reforming health care, gun laws and immigration were major themes at the debate broadcast on ABC News.
