In 2025, Torino will host the XXXII edition of the FISU World University Games Winter. The Universiade was born in Torino in 1959 thanks to former CUS Torino president Primo Nebiolo and here is where the Flame of Knowledge is permanently guarded.
The Torino 2025 World University Games Winter will present 9 compulsory sports and 2 new optional sports. In addiction, for the first time in FISU history, para students-athletes will compete on the same slopes and tracks in alpine skiing and cross country skiing.
