The Chinese shooter won indeed today's Trap Women match at this year's ISSF World Cup Final in Izmir, outdoing Italy's Jessica Rossi in a shoot-off for Gold. Shooting in the wind, the Chinese athlete entered into the final match with one of the lowest qualification scores, 67 targets, but then turned out to be the most consistent shooter during the medal match. Hitting 24 out of 25 final targets, the experiences athlete climbed up the scoreboard, eventually tying Italy's Rossi in the lead. Liu won then the shoot-off for Gold with 4 hits to Rossi's 3, ending up on the highest step of the ISSF World Cup Final for the second, consecutive time with a total score of 91+4 hits.
