In this clip from "The 330 Sports Show," former Ohio State football coach Jim Tressel discusses his first public speech at the school during halftime of the Ohio State/Michigan men's basketball game in Columbus.
Via 247Sports.com: "On the afternoon of Jan. 18, 2001, Ohio State university president Brit Kirwan and athletic director Andy Geiger introduced Youngstown State’s Jim Tressel as the school’s 22nd head football coach.
Tressel, then 48, was hired to replace John Cooper, who was fired after 13 seasons following an embarrassing Outback Bowl loss to South Carolina on Jan. 1."
"Later that day, he was introduced at Value City Arena during halftime of Ohio State’s men’s basketball game against Michigan where he gave his iconic "310 days" speech."
