رقابتهای کشتی فرنگی و آزاد امیدهای جهان که از ۱۸ تا ۲۶ اکتبر ۲۰۲۲ در پونته ودرا اسپانیا برگزار شد که طی آن تیم کشتی فرنگی ایران قهرمان جهان شد و تیم کشتی آزاد نایب قهرمان جهان شد در رده بندی تیمی کشتی آزاد تیم گرجستان با ۱۴۱ امتیاز بعنوان قهرمانی دست یافت، ایران با ۱۳۴ امتیاز نایب قهرمان شد و آمریکا با ۱۱۲ امتیاز سوم شد. و در رده بندی تیمی کشتی فرنگی تیم ملی ایران با 138 امتیاز بعنوان قهرمانی دست یافت و تیم های گرجستان و ترکیه به ترتیب با 101 و 93 امتیاز دوم و سوم شدند
