The Royals came in to tonight's game not only looking to avoid being swept but to also get back into the win column after a week-long skid. Seth Lugo turned in 7.0 innings, allowing 6 hits, 1 run, 1 walk, and striking out 4. Kris Bubic and Lucas Erceg closed out the 8th and 9th innings, with Erceg earning the save. Michael Massey scored Paul DeJong in the 4th with a single, and Tommy Pham introduced himself to the home crowd in a big way with a go-ahead 3-run blast in the same inning.
