Garmin showcases its fishfinder and chartplotter series for kayak anglers. Garmin also won “Best of Show,” with the Garmin Panoptix LiveScope. We get an overview of the Garmin Striker Plus and Garmin Echo Map Plus series.
There are two product lines that Garmin recommends for kayak anglers. They are the Striker Plus Series and the Echo Map Plus Series. They come with the transducer, the mount and every screw you could possibly need to get it mounted. The Striker Series is a fish finder with a build in GPS. They both come with traditional sonar, clearview as well as side view and come with a 4 inch right up to a 9 inch screen.
For anglers that are looking to have their own built-in maps, the Echo Map Plus Series which come with built-in cartography both for coastal and inland anglers.
