I took my new lure on a second proper day hunting Pike. After the interest the lure got in a 1 hour session the day before I just had to get it out once more. Upon arriving at the canal bank it was immediately obvious that it was mostly frozen solid. As a back up plan I thought id make a video of Pike fishing under bridges as they tend to not freeze up.The problem was that there simply was no Pike under any of the bridges. Thanks to this I walked miles and eventually came across some open water. As I had not seen a single fish I was very doubtful of catching. After my 7th cast I could see the shadow of a proper lump following my lure in. I was fast running out of room to retrieve so went for the pause and boom! FISH ON!
