In an interview with Sky News, John Bolton has claimed that Donald Trump "has trouble with women leaders".

The ex-national security adviser said Mr Trump and former British PM Theresa May "have very different approaches to politics", and that the president "had trouble" with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

In the exclusive interview, with Sky's Cordelia Lynch, Bolton stated: "These are not substantive disagreements. These are personality issues."
