The Great Barrier Reef holds a third of the world's coral reefs and is home to a wide range of over 5,000 fish and other forms of wildlife. Great Barrier Reef was the largest population of “Grander” (over 1,000-pound) black marlin. The internet website, Grander Watch, which tracks data on grander marlin, has recorded over 900 Granders landed in these waters to date.
