1. Preheat Your Grill To Medium High.
2. Butterfly The Chicken Legs. To Do This, Look At The Drumsticks To Find The Meaty Side. Flip It Over And Slice Down Where The Bone Is. Continue Cutting Until You Expose The Bone And Flare Out The Sides. Repeat With all Chicken Legs.
3. Lay Them Flat And Generously Season Both Sides With Your Favorite Rub. Pour Some BBQ Sauce In A Bowl And Bring Everything Out To The Grill.
4. Grill Over Direct Heat Skin Side Up For 10 Minutes. Check On The Half Way To Make Sure They’re Not Burning. Flip and Cook An Additional 10 Minutes Skin Side Down. Make Sure The Skin Gets Nice And Crisp.
5. At This Point The Chicken Should Be Close To Fully Cooked (Check With a Thermometer). Sauce Up The Back Side, Flip And Sauce The Skin Side. Close The Grill And Cook 3-5 More Minutes.
6. Remove From Grill And Plate Up!
