The ‘Horsemen’ name has a history in MLW, as CW Anderson was a member of the ‘Extreme Horsemen’ iteration in the early aughts.
CW Anderson was asked about the reception the group got, considering they were using such a revered name in the wrestling business. Anderson said Dusty Rhodes pitched it and Barry Windham, who was also in the group, gave his blessing, so he was honored to be part of it.
