Meeting at the course, Dom Eudes de Orleans e Braganca for a tour of this course in beautiful Rio!
Perfect for avid golfers who want to explore an oasis of a course within the complex urban setting in Rio. Great dining options alacarte and the Sunday brunch in one of the best in town. Even if you're not a golfer it is worth taking a tour of the course. Great facilities including steam room, sauna and gym.
Even though it's 5950 yards don't be deceived by its length. The front 9 are up and down carved out of the hill sides with many elevated greens. The fairways were in good shape so were the Greens. Most of The back nine runs along the ocean blocked out by a high tree line.
The clubs we rented were old but usable. Better to take your own equipment if you plan to play more than one round in Rio. Balls are quite expensive and should be taken along with you rather than buy there. The key is to get a good caddie. The greens are tricky and fairly fast and true. The mountain views and sea views from top are spectacular
