Every day IM Sagar Shah walks from the venue Villa Marina to his hotel Edelweiss and it is a 15 minute walk. In that he provides the round up of all 20 Indians who are taking part at the FIDE Grand Swiss 2023. Day 1 proved to be quite a tough one for the Indians as they scored 11.0/20 with wins scored by Arjun Erigaisi, S.L. Narayanan, Aravindh Chithambaram, Vaishali, Savitha and Vantika.
