Griffin Post Hammers the East Face of the Middle Teton - TGR's Top 21 Moments (15/21)
Griffin’s Teton segment in TGR’s Way of Life is effing mind-blowing. There is just no other way to describe it. (Except for maybe aggressive, calculated, and fast.)
The East Face of the Middle is such a big, high-consequence ski mountaineering line and Griffin skied the thing like it was at the resort. He hammered it without stopping from top to bottom — over 1000 feet of full throttle ripping. Even Zahan Billimoria, who’d been guiding big lines in the Tetons for 10 years at the time, had never seen anything like it.
Griffin would follow this line by the same style of descent on Mount Moran, and Apocolypse Couloir — eventually making him known for his remarkable Teton skiing.
About TGR's Top 21 Moments:
This year, TGR turns 21 years old. To celebrate, we're resurfacing TGR founders, Todd and Steve Jones', favorite moments from filming over the last 21 years—the moments that made TGR what it is today. One video a day until the world premiere of our new film "Tight Loose" on September 17 in Jackson, Wyoming.
