Leeds Rhinos star Tom Briscoe has backed research by Leeds Beckett University which working with the RFL to launch a game-wide three-year research project to quantify head impact and acceleration exposures in the sport with the aim of increasing understanding and reducing future risk.
Briscoe appeared on BBC Breakfast to talk about his experience of using the mouthguard alongside Professor Ben Jones from Leeds Beckett University.
