One of the features of controllable smart trainers a lot of people want to try when they first buy one is to re-ride one of their favourite routes INDOORS having the trainer adjust the resistance to simulate the terrain. This has been possible with a few different programs over the years... it's now a lot easier.... but it's not perfect.

Today I go through the setup of:

- Pairing a Garmin Edge 520 to the TACX Neo smart trainer (ANT+ FE-C)
- Re-riding a route using the Edge 520

Three ways I'll show today are:

1) Loading a previous activity that I've already recorded on the Edge 520.
2) I'll create the same route in Strava/Garmin Connect, sync that to the EDGE and re-ride that.
