We left the kayaks at home this time and headed down to the banks of the lower Willamette River for some Smallmouth Bass. We wanted to go bass fishing one more time before we switch gears to Trout and Salmon/Steelhead. Mary S Young park is an excellent place in the late Spring through the Summer months for bank fishing. This also gives access to Cedar Island. We didn't catch any monsters but had a good time non the less!
