Scuba diving at Konnos Bay Agia Napa Cyprus with members and families of Viking Divers Larnaca

Here are some photos of our fantastic day out at Konnos Bay, located in the scenic Cape Greco area outside of Protaras. This dive site is great for all levels, you can follow the shore at 15-18 meters, or go a little further out and reach depths to 40+ meters. Our friendly staff were teaching Deep Specialty, Advanced Open Water including a dive using Diver Propulsion Vehicles (we felt just like James Bond!!), and guiding certified open water divers all at the same site! The visibilty was approx. 20m and the water temperature a refreshing 21 degrees Celsius. The underwater topography of Konnos Bay consists of many large, porous boulders which are great places to look for octopus, moray eels, nudibranchs, and other creatures. As you continue the dive, the boulders fade away into a white sandy bottom paired with a great wall where you can turn and gaze straight up, up, up to the surface. A must see for all divers! For the non-diver the site offers a spacious land cave to explore, swimming in clear, blue water, and picnic benches to enjoy the warm weather and endless sunshine.
