The Tissot Sideral dates back to the late-1960s and it is quite a special watch. Tissot has a history of using innovative or unusual materials for watches, and the Sideral certainly proves this. When it was introduced in 1969, it was the first watch to use a monobloc fibreglass case. The Sideral S was introduced two years later, with its famous yellow rubber strap and innovative fastening system. Fast-forward to 2023, and the funky barrel-shaped watch makes a return in a retro-cool style! Available in three highly colourful editions, the new Tissot Sideral retains the signature elements of the original watch but presents them with modern materials and mechanics. It’s a perfect blend of groovy 1970s design, with 21st-century watchmaking technology, including a Powermatic movement and a forged carbon case... all at a fair price!
