We went fly fishing in the NC mountains on the Nantahala River for trout and found some downright GORGEOUS waterfalls.
Part 3 of our Nantahala River adventure! If you haven't yet, check out parts 1 and 2 (links below). Our final day at the Nantahala was a tough one fishing-wise despite the overcast conditions. We struggled to catch fish, but we did set out to explore new waters and look at breath-taking scenery. We were able to fly fish in some hard-to-reach places, finding hidden waterfalls that few anglers have accessed.
We had an EPIC time fly fishing one of NC's best trout streams, and we hope you guys enjoyed the 3-part series! Unfortunately this fly fishing trip had to come to an end, but we'll be back next year...or should we go back sooner??? Let us know in the comments
