I just posted a little video showing me weaving with a young child while at a festival.Using my Schacht Cricket loom is great in maker's faires, artisan markets and craft shows, as it's so portable, and easy to weave with. People always respond very positively to it. It took me a long time to get the courage to paint my loom, but when the stand arrived in the mail, I decided that it was the perfect time to go for the gusto and paint it. I also embellished it a little with some wooden cutouts that I made - you could stencil or buy wooden shapes if you don't have a scroll saw. Anyhow, I encourage people to personalize their looms - it does enhance the weaving process to have the loom looking extra special.
