Woke to the coldest temperature in quite some time at the Harold Akey campsite. The site only has a single platform which I am not able to use with my trekking pole tent.

The 💦 water was a little bit of a hunt but okay. Also, was a large tree down(across trail) just beyond the campsite a mile or so.

Come along while I trek north through to ultimately reach just beyond Mount Tom Reservation. While I didn’t reach The base of Mount Holyoke as planned, spectacular views in the evening prevail.

Bonus for the day was to watch a local 🪂 parasailing club launch from the cliffs overlooking the East Hampton area.
