In October 2019, Bailey Leonard, 23, of Rensselaer, was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma, an extremely rare form of cancer. Working as a radiation therapist at New York Oncology Hematology (NYOH) and undergoing radiation therapy gave Bailey a unique perspective for treating her own patients.
