Xavi Hernández Creus (Catalan: [ˈʃaβi əɾˈnandəs ˈkɾɛws], Spanish: [ˈtʃaβi eɾˈnandeθ ˈkɾews]; born 25 January 1980), known as Xavi, is a Spanish professional football manager and former player who is the manager of Al Sadd. Widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time, Xavi is renowned for his passing, ball retention and positioning.
On 28 May 2019 it was announced that Xavi would take over as manager of Al-Sadd on a two-year contract. Xavi helped the club reach the semi-finals of the AFC Champions League, where they were eliminated by Al-Hilal FC 6–5 on aggregate. In the league, the club finished as third. In the 2019/2020, Xavi led his team to win three domestic tournaments. At the 2020 AFC Champions League, Al Sadd reached the round of 16 but were eliminated 0–1 by Persepolis.

A former Spanish international, Cazorla operates primarily as an attacking midfielder, but can also play as a winger, central midfielder or as a deep-lying playmaker.
Akram Hassan Afif Yahya Afif (Arabic: أكرم عفيف; born 18 November 1996) is a Qatari professional footballer who plays as a forward for Qatari club Al Sadd, and the Qatar national team.
He is considered to be one of the most promising players to emerge from Qatar.
Afif has been named in a three-man shortlist for the Asian Football Confederation’s men's player of the year for bringing the 2019 Asian Cup to Qatar.
Baghdad Bounedjah (Arabic: بغداد بونجاح, born 24 November 1991) is an Algerian professional footballer. He plays for Qatar Stars League side Al Sadd and the Algeria national team as a striker. Throughout his club career, he has played for Algerian sides RCG Oran and USM El Harrach, and Tunisian side Étoile du Sahel, before joining Qatari club Al Sadd in 2015. In the 2018–19 Qatar Stars League season, he scored a league record of 39 goals in one season, and was the world's leading goalscorer during the 2018 calendar year with 58 goals overall.
Rodrigo Barbosa Tabata (born 19 November 1980) or simply Rodrigo Tabata, is a professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Qatari club Al Sadd and the Qatar national football team.
