The father-and-son team of John and Thady Gosden recently became the highest-profile partnership yet, since joint-licence arrangements were introduced last year in British horse racing.
Saddling their first runner together on Friday 26 March at Lingfield, they delivered the goods without hesitation. A daughter of Frankel and a half-sister to Group 1 winner Coronet, Regent won her second race in succession, identifying herself as a very decent prospect in the process.
