Australia head coach Graham Arnold said on Tuesday his side will not "play for a draw" against Denmark in their final FIFA World Cup Group D match on Wednesday.
The 'Socceroos' currently sit in second place in Group D after they bounced back from a 4-1 defeat to defending champions France with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Tunisia.
A draw with Denmark would seal Australia's progression to the Round of 16 stage should Tunisia fail to beat France - and that would match the achievements of Guus Hiddink's 2006 World Cup side in Germany.
Arnold revealed it will be "fantastic" for his team to line up against Manchester United and Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen.
Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest on the pitch during his side's match with Finland at last year's European Championships, but has since made a full recovery.
