WERA Senior Superbike Heavyweight and Middleweight Novice race at Road Atlanta on 9.10.17.

FINALLY got a decent start, slotting into P2 before turn 1. Passed Dario Chavarro for the lead going into T6 on the first lap and kept it that way for the next 4 laps until I nearly lost the front in the esses. While I saved a low side it definitely shook me a little and my pace dropped. A lap later I was passed by Greg Sproles and Tom McKenna and while I tried to regain position I just wasn't able to match their pace and finished in third. Congrats to Tom for the win and Greg for second place!
