After a 0-2 start to the season and a ton of injuries to some of their best players (Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, just to name two) the Rams desperately needed a win to stay in contention. The first two games were on the road, and the Rams were finally back at SoFi Stadium for the home opener vs. the 49ers. Hardly anyone expected the Rams to play well enough to win this game, even with some of the best 49ers players players out due to injuries as well. After all, the 49ers have quite a history of beating the Rams at SoFi and they are a very good team. Everyone knows how well "the faithful" travel and the 49ers are always fortunate to have pretty much a home team advantage at just about every stadium.
The Rams had a shaky start, but they persevered and ended up coming back in masterful fashion very late in the game to win by a score of 27-24! It truly was an epic comeback and I wasn't sure if they could hang on, so you'll really hear me hollering and losing my damn mind at the very end of the game! It's embarrassing but I wanted to be sure to show what it was really like for so many of us fans who experienced this game at SoFi! And for all of you haters who are only going to focus on the "sea of red," I hope this video will help you see and hear how many Rams fans were in attendance cheering the Rams to victory! Thanks to the 49er fans who came in from outside of SoCal to boost our local economy ;)
