Milldale Tissington Trail Dovedale Walk, Peak District Walks In Derbyshire, England, UK
Milldale Tissington Trail Dovedale Walk was about 8 miles in distance. The terrain of the route was a combination of Tissington Trail track, field and valley paths and some short road/lane sections. The walking was mostly easy on level ground or along gentle slopes, except for an initial short steep climb out of Milldale and an optional climb up Cloud Thorpe. Route finding was easy with obvious paths, good waymarking and good landmarks. There were 24 stiles to negotiate, that's 6 step stiles to climb over and 18 squeeze-stiles to pass through.
