Blue Crabs, In this video we'll be setting our Blue Crab traps [pots] on the East Coast of Florida. This will be the first time we set our crab traps since installing turtle excluders on them. We picked this area because it is the closest to home and we were anxious to to see if the traps still caught crabs. For bait we used fish carcasses. After letting our crab traps set for 2 days we pulled them. We didn't expect to catch a lot of blue crabs at this spot but we were pleasantly surprised after pulling them and ended up with a nice mess of Blue Crabs and some Stone Crabs as a by catch.
