Dovedale Circular Walk, Peak District Walks In Derbyshire, England, UK
Dovedale Circular Walk was about 5 miles in distance. The terrain of the route was mostly valley and field paths in combination with a couple of short lane sections. The walking was easy on level ground or gentle gradients except for one steep ascent and two steep descents. Route finding was easy with obvious paths, good waymarking and good landmarks. However, fog out near Stanshope can make the turning south a little tricky to find. There were 9 squeeze-stiles to pass through and 11 stiles to climb over.
